Gigabyte Ring
a larger version of the Nanobyte Ring, the Gigabyte Ring features a cluster of precious cubic zirconia that represent unity and solidarity.
inspired by computer components and designed as a celebration of being able to re-establish connections in person after an extended period of isolation within the recent pandemic.
part of my “Re-Establishing Connection” collection debuting at Shine 2023 in London at The Goldsmiths’ Centre 🌟
the Gigabyte ring can be worn as a stand-alone piece or as as part of a group for a bejewelled stack!
materials:
3D printed in either:
bubblegum pink PLA (glossy finish)
mint green PLA ( matte finish)
stone-set with multiple cubic zirconia stones.
dimensions:
sample size photographed is a K.
25 mm height x 22 mm length x 5 mm depth.
each ring is made to the size selected when placing an order. if you’d like a custom size not listed, please get in touch via the fill-out-form or by email. 🩷
aftercare:
3D printed items should be stored in a dry place, away from water + direct sunlight. similar to other dyed items, sunlight will fade the colour of the pieces over time and the design can lose its vibrancy.
avoid bending the pieces as this can weaken their structure and cause them to break :’(
avoid contact with perfume/hairspray/lotions etc as this can discolour and/or tarnish the jewellery. it’s recommended to put on your jewellery as your last step when getting ready to prevent this!
remove all jewellery before water-based activities like showering and swimming.
